Because Asahi Super Dry cleanses the palate, it provides cut-through refreshment with food – and that’s often how our beer is enjoyed all over the world. Asahi Super Dry can be paired with all types of global cuisine, such as Mediterranean, BBQ, Latin, Korean, Chinese, and of course, Japanese recipes.

Its distrinctive taste is known as karakuchi (dry), and is brewed to the authentic Japanese recipe to deliver its dry, crisp taste and quick clean finish.

- Get a clean, chilled branded glass
- Position at 45°
- Fill the glass, leaving space for foam
- Slowly straighten glass

The history of Asahi Super Dry
In 1987, our curious Japanese brewers set out to do something different. They wanted to create a beer that was refreshing but still had real flavour.
And in Japan, beer is often enjoyed with food, so they also wanted a beer that pairs perfectly with all types of cuisine.
Inspired by dry sake, we invented the world’s first Super Dry beer.
We named it Asahi Super Dry and changed the world of beer forever.
